In this section we created a list of possible transportation options for UCF students to fully take advantage of if you’re looking to save money on gas or just don’t have your own transportation. With fluctuating gas prices becoming less dependable, it is sometimes cheaper just to take the bus.
ZIMRIDE
Zimride is a fun and easy way to share the seats in your car or catch a ride. With Zimride, you can find UCF friends, classmates, and coworkers going the same way you are.
It requires you to use your UCF Knights email to make an account. You can either sign up as a passenger or sign up as a driver. You can also request some compensation if you are a driver, so you could be making u to $4 per person you give a ride to. They also have promotions going on such as the one they have going on this month known as “Zimsgiving.”
If you post a ride within the private UCF Zimride network between November 1 and November 30, you are automatically entered to win either a $250 Amazon E-Card or one of nine $50 Amazon E-Cards.
